Prior to founding Rubino IP, Mr. Rubino honed his considerable skills as a patent litigator for nearly a decade nationally ranked law firms including Kaye Scholer LLP (now Arnold & Porter LLP) and Brown Rudnick LLP, focusing solely on patent litigation. 
Mr. Rubino evaluates and diligences complex patent portfolios and litigates cases to trial. He has litigated over one hundred cases in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. His unique skills and insight allow him to take on the most technically demanding matters and lead critical litigation phases in both the United Stated District Court and the Patent Office. He reviews and analyses globally significant source code while conducting infringement analysis and has deposed and examined the most senior software engineers from the largest tech companies in the world.
Mr. Rubino also appraises, diligences and negotiates the acquisition of patent portfolios in a wide area of technology. He conducts pre-suit investigations and guides clients through the litigation finance process.
While at Columbia University Mr. Rubino studied Operations Research and Industrial Engineering, along with Materials Science and Electrical Engineering, earning him a BS and an MS in engineering, giving him the unique ability to bring valuable insight and technical knowledge to the intellectual property matters he handles for his clients.

    Successfully represented Blitzsafe Texas, LLC in patent infringement litigation against automobile manufacturers over vehicle infotainment systems employing USB or Bluetooth.
    Successfully represented AGIS Software Development LLC in patent infringement matters filed against Apple, LG, ZTE, Huawei and HTC over technology related to location-based communication services including, interactive mapping software applications like "Find My iPhone," and "Find My Device."
    Successfully represented Ultravision Technologies in a number of patent infringement cases in the ITC and the district courts related to LED display panels and LED lighting. Defendants have included NEC, Samsung, Barco, Absen and Unilumin among many others. Defeated multiple IPRs.
    Successfully represented Semcon IC in a series of patent infringement cases over chipset power management technology against numerous defendants, including MediaTek and ZTE.
